Whether it’s a subdivision lot, your own county property, or that lakeside cottage location, every site presents unique opportunities and challenges.
Proper site planning starts at the beginning of the construction project - how the style of home desired 'fits' the location can have a big impact on cost and function.
During our initial site planning meetings, we’ll shoot grades to understand elevations, discuss access and septic/water system locations, understand the need for possible variances, and get a strong sense of design opportunities the lot features. We spend a lot of time to review trees, vegetation or other areas that our clients wants salvaged. We are strong believers in leaving the land as natural as possible at all costs.
After consultation, and final design approvals, we stake out the proposed building footprint on the lot enabling our clients to visually see the construction location, and sign off the site plan.
